Day 1 - Launceston Airport to Cradle Mountain National Park, Dove Lake Afternoon/Evening Shoot. The many moods of the lake along with the boat shed can be our focus for our first of many shoots in this Jurassic Mountain-Scape. The Dolorite Geology and changing textures of flora are always different in each season.

Day 2 - Sunrise Shoot at Dove Lake. With our head lamps on at the crack of the sparrows fart we will awaken with a glorious sunrise. The stillness of the lake and the dramatic skies always promises to be a relaxing and memorable experience.

Day 3 - Arthur's Lake Afternoon/Evening Shoot + Editing. Also known as the drowned forest. This place nestled up in the highland lakes offers a unique landscape. An anglers paradise for trout fishing. Hydro Tasmania pumps water from these lakes back to the mainland. The eerie melancholic look of the Gum trees and the calm water contrast for the ultimate slow shutter shot.

Day 4 - Arthur's Lake Sunrise Shoot + Freycinet National Park Afternoon/Evening Shoot. At Coles Bay in Freycinet National Park at Honeymoon Bay works well for a sunset shoot. If we are lucky with clear skies we may even catch some astrophotography.

Astrophotography: Wherever we have a clear night and not much light pollution is where we need to shoot astrophotography.

Day 5 - Sunrise Sleepy Bay + Bicheno late morning shoot. Good non slip shoes and sturdy tripod work best in these situations. Scouting the exact spot and knowing our terrain will be very helpful. In Bicheno we will be using our darker filters like a 6 or 10 stop. Bring a small towel and prepare for a little splash by the blowhole. We will then travel to the Bay of Fires to spend the night.

Day 5 - Bay Of Fires & Binalong Bay is such as serene and pristine oasis. A change of tides and variety of light will give us a chance to master composition. Once again we will aim for a sunset and sunrise shoot at two different locations.

Day 6 - In the Bay of Fires Conservation Area we will be up at the crack of dawn to capture a sunrise in Binalong Bay. For breakfast we will pass through Pyngenna Dairy Farm Cafe & Saint Columba Falls State Reserve for some waterfall (weather permitting) photography. Late afternoon until sunset at Bridstowe Lavender fields followed by some dusk photography. Fingers crossed the weather will be beautiful. We might even prepare a picnic hamper for dinner under the stars.

Day 7 - Sunrise at Bridport Pier followed by breakfast in Bridport and a leisurely drive to Launceston. Depending on your departure flight time we can also explore some other areas nearby and in Launceston City. I prefer this 100 + year old port. You will also discover nearby why Barnbougle Dunes Golf Links is rated as one of Australia’s best golf courses along a beach side walk.
